How to Edit Events
If the details of the event you have booked have changed or if you have made a mistake when creating your initial quote request, you must provide the correct information right away. You can only make changes before you book someone. Once you have accepted a quote and paid your initial deposit, the event cannot be changed or edited.
To edit an event, log in to your account and do the following:
- On your dashboard under “Events”, click on the event you need to edit
- Under the “event info” section, click edit event
- Update the current information for your event and click “Update event”
The entertainers who received your request will be sent an alert notifying them that changes have been made. Any quotes that you have received for that event will be canceled and the entertainer will need to send you a fresh quote. If you do not receive an updated quote, please send a message to the entertainer to discuss your changes and ask for a new quote.
Services
The services and categories requested for your event cannot be edited. You cannot add new services to an existing request because it has already gone through the process of being sent to appropriate vendors. If you would like to request a new service, you should complete an entirely new quote request so that the details you provide can be sent to the entertainer.
Booked Events
If you would like to make a change to your event after it has already been booked, you must message your entertainer via our website to discuss the changes so they will be recorded in writing with your booking for security purposes. Once both you and the entertainer have confirmed the change via message, please connect with us and we can manually update the details on your booking agreement.
Remove an event completely
If you would like to remove an event, you can do that from your account. Doing this will remove any requests that have been sent for that event and decline any quotes received. You will no longer be able to access the details of the event, or communicate with any of the entertainers that have been contacted.
NOTICE: removing an event cannot be undone. So this should only be done if absolutely necessary. If you want to keep the event but block communication, you can simply block the communication instead.
